--We regretted to that the eloquent and distinguished Col. I. C. Lamar, of Mississippi, had been confined his room at the Spotswood, by serious illness but are now glad to announce he is convent cent, under the assiduous and devoted attention and nursing of his friends of the fair and expects soon to resume his duties Lieut.
