Ayes--Messrs. Brown, Burnett, Caperton, Clark, Haynes, Henry, Johnson, of Ark., Maxwell, Oldham, Orr, Reade, Semmes, Simms, Sparrow and Wigfall--15. Noes--Messrs. Hill, Hunter, Jemison, Johnson, of Georgia and Phelan--6. The following are the committee's resolutions. Resolved, That in the opinion of the Senate, A C Myers is now Quartermaster General of the Confederate States Army, and is by law authorized and required to discharge the duties thereof. Resolved, That R. Lawton is not authorized by law to discharge the duties of said office. On motion of Mr. Clark, the Senate adjourned. The House was opened with prayer by the Rev. Mr. Keen. Several memorials from the army were laid before the House by the Speaker, among them one from the 154th regiment of Tennessee volunteers, in which was enclosed some resolutions, which had been adopted, declaring the purpose of the regiment to re-enlist in May next, and to continue in the field during the war, o
