Mayor's Court, yesterday.
--Daniel St. Clair, George Lucas, William Fife, Franklin A. Morris, alias Herman, and John F. Matthews, were again arraigned on the charge of robbing and murdering Michael Rourke.
Inability to elicit evidence substantiating the charges necessitated their discharge with reference to the robbery and murder; but, in consideration of the fact that their general characters were not of the best, they were each held to security for their future good behavior.
William, slave of Mrs. Gooch, charged with stealing a ham, the property of John S. Dodson, was ordered to be whipped.
Security for good behavior was required of Austin Conley, charged with being a person of evil fame, name and reputation.
