Lumpkin were also injured — the former having his left arm severely mashed, and the latter receiving a severe sprain in the back. A soldier, named George Myers. belonging to Hampton's Legion, had his leg broken, besides receiving a severe contucut on his left leg, below the knee, and was completely paralyzed. It is the opinion of his physician that this man cannot survive his injuries. A rumor was in circulation during the day that a boy who had entered the store of the Messrs.
