tives. Thursday,March 16, 1865. The doors being re-opened, Mr. Wickham, of Virginia, asked leave of absence for Mr. Lyon, of Alabama, from and after to-morrow afternoon, which was agreed to. The vote by which the bill "to authorize the rt of the Government,' approved March 11, 1865." The amendment was agreed to and the bill passed. On motion of Mr. Lyon, of Alabama, the rules were suspended, and he offered the following resolution: "Resolved, That the House of Represmit exemptions." On motion of Mr. Chrisman, of Kentucky, the amendment was ordered to be printed. On motion of Mr. Lyon, of Alabama, the House adjourned. Friday,March 17, 1865.
