Accidental Suicide --Walter Macmurdo, a boy about twelve years old, son of Mr. C. W. Macmurdo, of this city, went out yesterday, in company with a young cousin of his, on a hunting expedition. Becoming somewhat wearied, they shut down upon a log to rest themselves and while in this posture, young Macmardo undertook to draw his gun to himself, holding the muzzle meanwhile towards his person. The cook came in contact with some object with sufficient force to explode the cap and discharge the load, which penetrated his throat and passed out at the back of his head, producing instantaneous death. A rad story, which carries its own moral — always handle fire-arms with care.
