Carter commanding, who have died, is sergeant Jno. K. Wakeham, a brave soldier. In the Louisiana Guard Artillery, at the battle of Chancellorsville, Corp'l W McCall was severely wounded in the leg, and privates Wesley Browne and T Suter slightly wounded.
