10 o'clock. After the entrance march, a beautiful address was delivered by Miss Maggie Bissett, a charming little lady from our sister city, Petersburg. The coronation followed. In the senior circle, the first honors were awarded to Misses N. Mahoney, M. Bissett, J. Samanni, S. Simons, E. Butler, A. Finney. The second honors to Misses M. Mahoney, A. McCoy, L. Gunn, E. Lugnott, R. Carr. In the junior circle, the first honors were awarded to Misses Mary McKenney, Czerina Smith, M. Burns, C. Mann, K. McCann, M. Ann McKenny, C. Cutler, K. Butler, E. Fogarty. The second honors to Misses C. Smith, M. English, E. Perry, P. Samanni, K. Burns, J. Watkins, A. Clash. During the distribution of the testimonials quite a number of difficult pieces of instrumental music were performed with a facility and perfectness surprising to those unacquainted with the high reputation St. Joseph's Academy has always enjoyed for the thoroughness of its instruction in this branch of popular education.
