Correspondence between Mr. Mason and Earl Russell. The New York papers, of the 30th of March,ondence is deed April 1st, 1862, and is from Mr. Mason to Nari Russell, whose attention is called te 14th, simply presenting his compliments to Mr. Mason, and acknowledging the reception of his lettthe 1st. Under date of the 7th of July, Mr. Mason addressed another letter to Earl Russell, onfrom being an eff one by international law., Mr. Mason, in this labor, , for the information of hisconvention of Paris, above. In this letter Mr. Mason disclaims any policy in the Confederate Goveve an effect contrary to what was intended. Mr. Mason does not express any opinion as to the corre the Confederates. The next letter from Mr. Mason is on the subject of gallien, and is dated compliments to Mr. Mason. He begs to assure Mr. Mason that it is from no want of respect to him thould arise from the personal interview which Mr. Mason proposes, and must therefore decline it." [5 more...]
