North Mississippi in 1862-63. By General Dabney H. Maury. [The following paper was written for miles east of Corinth. Our army consisted of Maury's First Division, and Little's Second Divisional force of nearly 19,000 effectives, viz.— Maury's divisionabout 4,800 men. Hebert's divisionaade was formed as a reserve behind the left of Maury's division; the Missouri division touched Maurrice's corps on this day, the right brigade of Maury's division was commanded by General John C. Mo railroad, resumed his position in the line of Maury's division, and soon encountered a Federal brinth. The Missourians and Phiffer's brigade of Maury's division were also hotly engaged during thisbell of Virginia, commanding Second brigade of Maury's division; General Charles Phiffer of Mississetrated into it.
