Judge Lyons's Court. --This tribunal was in session yesterday till nearly 3 o'clock, during which time several criminal cases were disposed of. Charles Girth, indicted for the larceny of two coats, belonging to Frank Dickman, on the 16th day of January, who was found guilty on Tuesday of petty larceny, was called up for sentence. The Judge assessed the term of his imprisonment in the city jail at four months. Jacob Schoff was tried for breaking into the store of John McDonough, on the 5th of January, and stealing therefrom sundry articles to the value of thirteen dollars. The prisoner was found guilty, and the jury ascertained the term of his imprisonment in the city jail to be sixty days. Andrew Sullivan was put on trial for shooting John Smith, on the 5th of January, with intent to deprive that valuable member of society of his existence.
