Mayor's Court, Thursday, March 19. --Two soldiers, named Wm. Bowan and Wm. White, said to belong to a Mississippi regiment charged with shooting Lewis Sweiger and a soldier named Frederick Grope, of the 5th Louisiana, on Main street, Wednesday, were arraigned for examination, but the wounds of the principal witnesses precluding their attendance, the case was postponed until Saturday. John Farrell, charged with burglary in breaking into John McDonough's tailor shop and stealing a uniform coat, was called up for examination, but this case was likewise continued on account of the absence of the chief witnesses for the Commonwealth.
