Brutal Murder in Chicot Court, Arkansas.
--A son of Judge Sutton, about 21 years of age, living in Chicot county, was brutally murdered last Sunday morning by his father's overseer.
The details of this sad event, so far as we have been able to ascertain, are Young Sutton ordered a negro to haul some wood to the house — the negro harnessed the team and started to get the wood, when he was ordered to return to the house by the assassin.
Young Sutton then started for the wood with the team, when the overseer ran to the house, seized a double barrel gun and shot the deceased through the body with both barrels, causing immediate death.
The murderer's name is McGill.
A reward of three thousand dollars is offered for his apprehension.--e polean Painter, 9th.
