Drowned. --Yesterday morning, about 11 o'clock, the body of a man was seen floating in the canal near the Packet office. It was taken out, and, from papers found on it, ascertained to be the body of Capt. B. L. Morgan, of the steamer Paul Jones. Captain Morgan was originally from Memphis, Tenn. He left the Spotswood Hotel in this city about the first of this month, and is presumed to have fallen into the basin. Apparently he had been in the water many days.
