Hon. Chas. Murphy, a member elect of the Georgia Convention, died the day before its assembling. The rains in East Tennessee were so heavy last week as to materially interfere with the passage of the mails. Dr. T. W. Dyott, well known throughout the United States as a druggist, died in Philadelphia last week.
