Richmond Circuit court, (in vacation,) yesterday. -- A writ of habeas corpus, granted to Elias Rollow, was partially heard and continued till this morning--Mr. G. A. Myers for the petitioner and Mr. James Neeson for the Government. The petitioner claims exemption from conscription on the ground of being ever forty-five years of age, but is willing to serve in the reserves. George H. Coons, recently elected to the office of commissioner of the revenue for the county of Culpeper, came before the court on a writ of habeas corpus. The case was heard and the petitioner was bailed in the sum of $1,000 to appear on the 1st of October, at which time it is supposed the Court of Appeals will have rendered a decision in the case of A. J. Camp, elected from the army to fill a State office.
