Mr. George G. Page, whose name the company bears, and who was its founder, was born in Dorchester, N. H., in 1807. In 1844 Mr. Page commenced the manufacture of boxes and packing-cases in Cambridgeport, his shop being on e factory and dwelling-house were both totally destroyed by fire.
