Mayor's Court.
--The doings of this Court yesterday hardly deserve mention.
The cases were few and of the most paltry character.
Tom, slave of Susan Cunnington, who had been caught running about without any pass and acting disorderly, was punished — Nelson, slave of W. Cottrell, was examined for carelessly propelling his dray against Peter Angle's heart and breaking it, and acquitted.--I. B. Davenport was fined $2 for allowing his son Charles to throw rocks in the street.--Caroline, slave of John Tyler, was ordered fifteen lashes for circulating about the streets with Wm. J. Page's pass, and acting suspicious.
