Relief for the citizens of Norfolk. --The Baltimore Gazettes has the following paragraph, with a call for donations in money: Seven hundred destitute families in Norfolk, numbering, in the aggregate, some three thousand persons, appeal to the people of Baltimore for such assistance as they are permitted by the constituted authorities to render. We know that this appeal will not be made in vain. Two ladies, the Hon. Mrs. J Parker and Mrs. Baltimore, have resend this city, bearing letters to ministers here from the clergy of Norfolk, and also accredited by the President of the Humans Society and others.--They are authorized by Gen. Schenck to collect and forward to Norfolk forty hogsheads of bacon, one hundred and fifty barrels of flour and ten forces of molasses. A committee of merchants has also kindly consented to act in co-operation with these ladies, and invite contributions, either in money or in such articles as are enumerated above.
