Discharge of Dr. Peters. --The news of the capture of Dr. George B. Peters, who killed Gen. Earl Van Dorn, was published not long since.--He was arrested and carried to Meridian, Miss., and subsequently, brought before the Hon. Wm. Kilpatrick, at Okolona, on a writ of habeas corpus,on the 25th November. After a hearing he was discharged, there being nothing against him to justify his detention.
