Sessions. The town-clerk and town-treasurer in 1861 and 1862 was Howard Stanton; Howard Stanton died in office during the year, and his father, James, was appointed to fill the vacancy. in 1863 and 1864, John M. Merrick; in 1865, Gilbert Roew
