f N. C., offered a resolution for supplying the House with stationery. Adopted. Also, presented resolutions passed by the Legislature of North Carolina. Mr. Pryor, of Virginia, reported a bill to amend an act for organizing the general staff of the army. Referred to Committee on Military Affairs. Also, a bill to repethat, "the Military Committee be instructed to inquire into the expediency of reporting, &c.;" which was accepted by Mr. Lyons, and the resolution adopted. Mr. Pryor, of Virginia, from the Committee on Military Affairs, asked leave to report back the bill for continuing in office the Major Generals and Brigadier Generals of te effect that said Major and Brigadier Generals be subject to the regulations of the War Department for removal. An Omission. In copying the committees yesterday from the lists of the Speaker, we omitted from the Military Committee the name of Hon. Roger A. Pryor, of Virginia. Mr. P. is second on that committee, and is name was unintentionally over by the Congressional reporter.
