Lieut. Col. Gardiner, formerly Major in the U. S. Army, was severely wounded in the leg.
Mr. Avery has kindly furnished us with a correct list of the killed, wounded and missing of the Oglethorpe Light Infantry, which we append.
The company fought with desperation and suffered severely.
