Suicide.
--John D. Raleigh who killed a man in self-defence at Renfros Hotel, Jacksonville, Ala., on the 14th inst., took strychnine the next day and killed himself.
From a manuscript prepared and left by him, it appears that he was induced to commit the rash deed from repeated failure to procure employment.
He was an orphan and a cripple, and had been educated for a teacher.
He left also a letter for a little girl of Jacksonville, whom he appears to have loved better than all else under the sun.
