A New Auxiliary for the Southern Arms.
Mr. Robert Wells, an æronaut, who is now serving as a private with Capt. Ray's company, of the Second Regiment, Morris' Island, has been experimenting with his balloons, and has ingeniously devised means of steering them on any given course.
He is ready to offer his services to the Southern Confederacy in his æronautic capacity.--Charleston Mercury.
