Judge Fitzpatrick in behalf of a man named John D. Rhodes. It seems that Rhodes had been enrolled aRhodes had been enrolled as a conscript, and shortly after his enrollment he received the appointment of tax collector under tsued a writ of habeas corps at the instance of Rhodes's counsel.
