Shooting affair --Mr. J. F. Hough, Clerk of the County Court of Union county, N. C., was killed in Monroe on the 24th ult., by a shot from a pistol in the hands of Mr. James Richards. Mr. R. adirms it was accidental, but the community seems much excited, and the case will be investigated.
