Morriss's cow, was allowed to give security for his appearance when the case should be next called. Anna Thompson proprietress of the house corner of Cary and 12th streets, having been arrested Wednesday night by the police for keeping a house of ill fame, was arraigned, together with Bridget McCarthy, Josephine Hester, Belle Morris, Jennie Richardson, and Clara Phillips, her boarders, to answer said charge. The police detailed the circumstances connected with their visit and the arrest of the inmates.
