Mayor's Court. --The cases before His Honor yesterday were of an uninteresting character. Davy, slave of Warner Jones, charged with depositing ashes in the street, was ordered to receive ten lashes. John Roberts, charged with having a bag of coal, supposed to have been stolen, proved his title, and the case was dismissed. Lewis, slave of Dr. Samuel Patterson, was committed to jail as a runaway. The following cases were continued till the 26th: Fanny, slave of Martha E. Dickinson; Emma, slave of S. G. Ames, and Kate, slave of Ann E. Fox, charged with going at large; and Charles, slave of P. B. Jones, charged with stealing a pair of gloves.
