The first is for Bragg to strike Rosecrans at once and before Siegel can come to his aid, thereby depriving him of the great advantage hee speedily, there will, in all probability, be a repetition of Shiloh — Siegel arriving to aid Rosecrans as Buell did to aid Grant — and, though an expensive victory be achieved to our arms, it will
