ahunty, of Philadelphia (a gentleman who lost a brother in the Confederate army), and is certainly most beautifully executed. The cost of the whole was $10,000--of which the committee have paid all except $1,500, which they would have realized by a collection on the day of the unveiling except for the rain, which dispersed the vast crowd.
