Not a particle of evidence was adduced against the accused, and he was thereupon discharged. The case of Maria, slave of Lee Binford, charged with stealing a lot of molasses, fish, flour, preserves, lard and salt, valued at two thousand dollars, stolen from Thomas G. Turner, was continued.
