Terms of Sale.--As to the Slaves: On a credit of 6 months, the purchasers giving bonds with good security, hearing interest from the day of said, with liberty, however, to any purchaser to pay the whole or any part of his purchase in cash to the Commissioners. As to the Land: One-fourth in cash, and as to the residue, on a credit of six, twelve and eighteen months, from the day of sale, the purchasers giving bonds with good security for the deferred instalments, hearing interest from their dates, and the title to be retained until the purchase money is paid, as further security therefore.
