The shooting of Clarke. --James Slater, charged with shooting William Clarke, and Francis Sheridan, charged with aiding and abetting Slater, were arraigned before the Mayor yesterday, and the testimony partly heard. The facts in the case are that Slater and Sheridan went into Clarke's store, on 17th street, last Monday, aan was engaged in conversation with the proprietor, Slater fell asleep.
