Glasgow have been nominated by the same party in Botetourt; Jas. Murdaugh has been nominated in Portsmouth, and J. R. Hubbard in Norfolk. Charles R. Slaughter, Esq., for many years a prominent member of the Lynchburg bar, and late a member of the Virginia State Convention, died at his residence, in Lynchburg, on Monday last.
