Meyer's Court, Saturday, Dec. 6. --Thomas Davenport was required to give $300 security to keep the peace towards James Robinson, and half that amount to appear before the Grand Jury and answer an indictment for firing a pistol in one of the public streets of this city, to the great danger of persons passing along the same. Richard, slave of Francis Smith, arrested with a keg of apple brandy, worth $100, in his possession, supposed to have been stolen, was acquitted of the larceny, but committed as a slave going at large contrary to law. The brandy was detained at the Mayor's office for reclamation by its owner. Margaret, slave of Samuel C. Tardy, was committed for trial before the Hustings Court, on the cath of Surgeon Dinwiddie P.
