exandria, August 13.--The name of the soldier killed last night by a sentry was Corporal Thompson, of Company B, 18th New York Regiment, instead of Daniel Underhead. Lieut. Joseph C. Hyatt, of the 32d New York Regiment, has been appointed Provost Marshal for Alexandria, in place of Captain Vickers, resigned. Washington, August 13.--The President to-day appointed Col.
