From Northern Virginia. Orange C. H., Jan, 22. --Eight Yankee prisoners, captured by a squad of the Sixth Virginia Cavalry, under Lieut. Stringrellow, near Warrenton, have reached here. A flag of truce was sent to the enemy on Monday, asking permission for the family of Governor Smith to come from Warrencen into our lines. An answer was received yesterday refusing permission. Parties just out from Culpeper say the Yankees are treating our people kindly, furnishing the most needy with rations and hauling wood for all. Five corps of the enemy's infantry except guards for the bridges, are lying around Culpeper Court House.
