neral Sheridan found rebel hospitals in all the towns from Winchester to New Market, and was eighty miles from Martinsburg. Twenty pieces of artillery were captured at Fisher's Hill, together with eleven hundred prisoners, a large amount of ammunition, caissons, limbers, &c., and a large quantity of entrenching tools, small arms, and debris.
