eir house filled with young ladies from the best families in the state. The good influence of this academy can hardly be overstated. Uniting extensive literary accomplishments with the highest moral qualifications, these ladies performed their legislative and executive duties with dignity and quietness, and labored to give that instruction which develops all the powers for health, usefulness and station.
