Second Florida regiment. This regiment is in Early's old brigade, now commanded by General Garland, and was gallantly led by him in the battle of Saturday. Our brigade being in the front, led the charge, and were badly cut up. The Second-Florida regiment went into battle with 436 men, rank and file and had 187 killed and wounded. Thomas M.
