Correspondence of the Richmond Dispatch.military Matters in King George. King George Co., June 19. I seldom ever see anything in your valuable paper from our county. We are aroused, and at work. We have raised two volunteer companies, and are now on duty, and commanded by two brothers, Bladin J. Taylor and E Poinsett Taylor. They are both young men, and certainly deserve a good deal of credit. They have done more for the county than all the balance in it. They have a military spirit, and they are good officers, and we wish them success. We have had an effort on foot to raise a cavalry company, but up to this time it has failed for the want of a suitable man for Captain. It seems that the most of the gentlemen that are capable to take command, prefer the infantry. There are others at this time who are trying to raise volunteer companies, and I am in hopes they may succeed We have some six or seven hundred men near Matthias' Point, ready for the enemy, and they are
