Organization of the Hustings Court. --Messrs, James K. Caskie, Richard D. Sanxay, C. E. Anderson, W. W. Timberlake, N. M. Lee, Wm. Taylor, Geo. N. Gwathmey, John F. Regnault, John W. Beveridge, Abel F. Picot, N. C. Lipcombe, and E. A. J. Clepton, twelve of the Aldermen recently elected, appeared at the City Hall, on Saturday, for the purpose of organizing the Hustings Court. Mr. J. Maye was sworn in as Mayor, by Alderman Caskie. Alderman caskie was elected City Recorder, and R. D. Sanxay, Senior Alderman. The parties took the oath of fidelity to the Southern Confederacy.

Dr. Coxe relant, on his return to camp, the incidents of he visit within the rebel lines; said he had been questioned, and that he had lied as well as he could to deceive the enemy. Coxe conducted himself in a very a bilant manner at his beasted success — He was away so much from his camp as to neglect the duties of his office port forbearance. Colonel Taylor at last approved and forwarded charges against arm for inefficiency. About the same time, I understand, this rebel document same to the knowledge of the Colonel, but independently of that document, suspicions were gathered against him, and the Doctor was put under arrest and kept in his tent. He resigns in office as Surgeon of the regiment. His resignation and the charge were sent to gether to Washington, and he immediately followed them as a prisoner. Dr. Coxe is, I believe, a resid
Arrests. --The civil police accomplished the arrest, yesterday, of John Daley, for going into Ro. S. Watkins's house and stealing a saddle worth $10, and of Elizabeth Turner, for receiving the same, knowing it to have been stolen. Also, of Frances Peppercorn, for violently assaulting and cutting Wm. Taylor and John T. Pinkhorn with a knife. Mike Shelan and Thos. Wilson were locked up for stealing $10 in bank notes from J. J. Harrold.

Twenty-five dollars reward. --Runaway, from the farm of John O Taylor dec'd, on the Brook Plank Road, three miles north of Richmond, a man named Dick? He is about 5 feet 6 inches in height, gingerbread color; he has a lump on the shoulders, and walks very careless and lazy. He left about the time Hood's division passed through Henrico, and may be with them. I will pay the above reward for him if delivered in Richmond, or on the farm in Henrico. Teemanda T. Tobias Pearsall, indicted for selling ardent spirits without a license. Found guilty and fined $60 and costs. William Kinney, indicted for Larceny.--Plead guilty, and sentenced to jail for one week. James Charles and Henry Shearman, each fined $60 and costs for violating the revenue laws, by selling liquor without a license. William Taylor, indicted in two cases for unlawful trespass on real estate. Found guilty and fined $75 in the first case and ninety days imprisonment. In the second case fined $100 and sent to jail for ten days. The Grand Jury will meet to day, pursuant to adjournment.

Ludman, John McDonald, William Taylor, Thomas J. LaPrade, and E. B. Robinson. In the absence of the committee calls were made for various gentlemen, Mr. Adolphus Gary only responding. This gentleman did not design to make a speech at that time, but would wait till the report from the committee was brought in, and then he would say what could be done. The object of the meeting was one of great importance to the mechanics of Richmond, and in his opinion it was not proper at that time to go into any discussion. Let us w
