Old Gloucester is right.
We are all excitement down here, but not a bit of back-out in us. Since the secession of our glorious old Commonwealth three large volunteer companies have been raised, and are now nearly ready for service.
They are composed of the best fighting stock in the State, and in the event of an engagement will prove themselves to be so. The last one organized is a compaGloucester county, Va., (May 2,) as follows :
