Yankee outrages in Gloucester county. The Yankees have recently been committing a series of outrages in the county of Gloucester. During the past week they visited York river, and after burning his stable and corn-house, stole all the horses of Mr. W. T. Tallaferro but two, and all the horses of Gen. Wm. B. Tallaferro but one. From there they went to the house of Dr. Philip A. Tallaferro, the only practicing physician in the neighborhood, and destroyed his stock of medicines, stole his Gloucester. During the past week they visited York river, and after burning his stable and corn-house, stole all the horses of Mr. W. T. Tallaferro but two, and all the horses of Gen. Wm. B. Tallaferro but one. From there they went to the house of Dr. Philip A. Tallaferro, the only practicing physician in the neighborhood, and destroyed his stock of medicines, stole his clothes and books, and some of his chairs Every house on the river was visited and plundered. They burned the barn on the farm of Mr. James Dabney; went to the residence of Mr. Patterson Smith, who suffered so severely some time ago, and searched his house again, and stole every horse upon his farm. They also visited, we understand, the farms of Messrs. James and Charles Talbott, of this city, and took all their stock of horses, cows, and wagons, and destroyed nearly all their furniture. Two
