Brave women.
--It is stated that when the Yankees made a dash upon the railroad near Resaca the other day, they cut the wire of the telegraph.
No sooner had they gotten out of sight than Mrs. Buchman, of Whitefield county, Ga., and her sister, Miss. Carrie Sims, went to work to repair the damage.
They found it a rather difficult job, of course, but timely aid was afforded them by a Confederate officer who happened to be passing, and the work was speedily accomplished.
