The Charleston Mercury, of the 11th, contains a most interesting account of the late engagement off Port Royal. We published yesterday morning some interesting particulars, which we copied from the Courier, but doubt not the following graphic description from the Mercury will be read with interest: Thursday dawned gloriously upon our wearied but u was filled with a heterogeneous throng of fugitives of all conditions, carriages, carts, and conveyances of every description that could, by any possibility, be pressed into service.
