ttanooga before night" It seems that Col. Adams, of Adams's Cavalry, was surprised near Jasper, Tenn, and that he had his entire command completely routed. Reports differ in regard to casualtieand, numbering eight hundred men. The Feds are reported to be three thousand strong, and were at Jasper yesterday.
