Central cars. --The down Central mail train, due here at 1½ o'clock yesterday evening, was detained four hours, owing to the upward bound freight train running off the track a short distance this side of the Junction yesterday morning. The way freight, which left this city at half past 5 o'clock in the morning, preceding the passenger train, ran off the track near Little river bridge.--Two cars were broken so that the track could not be cleared for some three or four hours. The up train being thus delayed, and the heavy gravel on the road made it necessary to detain the down train at Gordonsville to get cars train the up train, which arrived at Gordonsville about 4 o'clock. The down mail reached the city about half-past 8 o'clock last night No one was hurt.
