Scarcely a train or messenger arrives from the Potomac that we do not hear of some cowardly attack upon points undefended, or at least but poorly defended. One example is sufficient to show what kind of warfare we may expect from those who, a few months ago, were panting to be called in defence of the flag and Constitution of the late United States. The dwelling-house of Dr. Grymes, of King George county, near Mathias' Point, was, on Monday, reduced to a total wreck. No one can imagine the motive for this uncalled for destruction of private property, unless the enemy had some information to the effect that a house near by was occupied as a hospital for the sick at that camp. It was also reported yesterday that a barn in that vicinity had been fired and burnt with hot shot.
